The Position:
Back-end JAVA Engineer
As a Back-end JAVA Engineer at ThreatFabric, you'll play a pivotal role in developing, managing, testing, and deploying the backend systems essential to our mission. We process high amounts of data and have to innovate and keep up with the latest technologies to protect our customers' digital products from malware and fraud.
Skills & Competencies
Technical Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Familiarity and preferably experience in working with a microservices architecture.
- Strong experience with Postgres is highly desirable.
- Experience with Azure, AWS, Kafka, or SpringWebFlux is a plus.
- Knowledge of caching technologies such as Redis or Kdb would be advantageous.
- Proficient in Java and the Springboot framework.
- Familiarity with open-source development workflows using GIT
- Experienced in creating and using web-based REST APIs, with a strong Linux background.
- Knowledge of Docker and AWS is advantageous.
- You keep your skills up to date by training and learning by doing.
- Experience working within Agile environments (SCRUM/Kanban).
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
