The Position: IT System Administrator

As an IT System Administrator at ThreatFabric, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our IT infrastructure, both on-premises and in the cloud. This role involves daily operations, troubleshooting, and support, as well as identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes as needed.

 You'll collaborate closely with our CTO, Lead Risk & ITOps, and development team to improve tools that support our commercial services. The role requires a self-starter who is comfortable working with minimal supervision, while also communicating effectively with the broader team.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and improve ThreatFabric’s IT infrastructure, both on-premises and in the cloud.
  • Troubleshoot and support servers, networks, and the IT infrastructure.
  • Plan and implement system improvements to enhance performance and security.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve tools and services for our commercial offerings.
  • Document processes and communicate project statuses clearly. 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Location: You are based in the Netherlands, with a minimum of two office days per week at the office in Amsterdam.
  • Experience: 3 years of experience in system administration.
  • Passion: Strong drive to continually improve yourself and the IT infrastructure.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Experience with Microsoft products (Azure, Teams, Exchange, Intune, Defender, Purview, etc.).
    • Experience with Linux or similar operating systems.
    • Understanding of network security principles and best practices.
  • Education: MBO level 4 / Associate’s degree or equivalent.
  • Communication: Proficient English writing skills for documentation and team collaboration.
  • Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Preferred Qualifications (Pre):
    • Familiarity with Jira Service Management.
    • Microsoft SC-900 and AZ-900 certifications.
